The genie cannot be put back in the bottle. Artificial intelligence is changing industries, eliminating occupations, and creating new professions. Every living soul will be affected. So, let’s look at some important, trending AI conversations.

There are many areas of active and important conversation surrounding AI. It would be a full-time job to keep up with it all. “The Golden Era of AI” conjures a retro-futurist style in my mind. I thought the style was perfect to unify the featured images for the AI 101 Article 3 posts: “Pomp. Buzz. Fret”. They were great fun to make in Midjourney.

Retro-futurism is a design and artistic movement combining nostalgia for old-fashioned aesthetics with futuristic technology and concepts. It emerged in the 1940s and 1950s but gained popularity in the 1970s and 1980s. The style often features elements of Art Deco, Space Age, and Atomic Age design, with a focus on sleek lines, geometric shapes, and bold colors. However, I see quite a bit of it resurging again over the past decade.

The image for the overview features a woman in deep consideration. She is straight out of the sixties, with hair pulled back in technology rather than the expected bandana of the day. The surrounding computer and tech imagery delivers the primary futuristic context. It is easy to imagine her considering the role of AI during the atomic age (Midjorney /imagine pun intended).
